Not rating DNF'd at 35%Hmmmm.....what to say??? I kept trying to give this story a chance! I really did, just to prove V wrong bwhahaha! But sadly :( I couldn't finish it! *whispers* so I confess V you are right!! Hahahaha never again will I say you are right :) The heroine got on my nerves with her immature ways and childish ideas. The so called 'bad boy' Jay was far from badass! I didn't feel connected to the characters enough to care what happened and the sex was just meh for me :( Her brothers sounded hot!! And for me it says something when you care more for secondary characters than those who the story is suppose to be about :( :(
This novel was absolutely brilliant. I could not get enough of Joe (apart from his moody side which got me annoyed on more than one occasion). The emotional roller coaster that I was on while reading this was at times stressful. I even have to admit that I raced to the last few pages at the half way point to give my self hope as I couldn't cope otherwise. This was the first of kristen's novels that I have read but I have been hooked to her writing ever since. Brilliant romance and it is funny, sad and very steamy in places. So a good recipe for a romance novel in my eyes
I cannot say too much without ruining it for others, as its only a short one but...I was so pleasantly surprised at how weirdly hot alien sex could be bwhahahahahaha!Don't get me wrong it was crazy funny but I am definitely searching out more *cough*sexy*cough* tentacle books! Who knew I had a new kink bwhahahahaha!
Loved this short book :) I was desperate for a short funny read and thanks to Blacky found this one :) I had a good laugh at the banter between the two main guys and it was the perfect length for a quick hot book :) It will certainly help to get me out of my book slump :)

I cannot even begin to describe in words how amazing this book is.Vadim and Dan have a relationship built on revenge, hate, passion and lust! Sworn enemies fighting for their country as members of the army, where to be gay is a complete no go area. They had everything going against them!! Not to mention the awful incident which occurs at the beginning of their emotional journey towards love and each other! This is an emotional, painful and harrowing book. History is a subject I prefer not to read in detail about yet I thoroughly enjoyed it! The passion between Vadim and Dan made me fall in love with both characters, but especially Dan. I laughed and cried and I swear at the end my heart bled for them. But that just goes to show what an absolutely brilliant author Aleksandr Voinov is to be able to evoke such emotion in his readers! This book will stay with me a long time and has caused me to have many emotional outbursts even days after reading it. But not because of anything bad (if you want to know if their is a HEA press here There is a happy end in this book, and in my opinion it could have ended here. But that is not to say that I won't read the rest, as I most certainly willI have to have a rest from reading the next instalment as I don't think my emotions can take it lol!
I was torn between giving this book 3/4 stars!!I will admit it was the extremely hot sex scenes which bumped it up a star! Shame on me I know!!Things I liked (without spoilers)* the way the author wrote the whole situation. She seemed to be sensitive to the fact some people may have issues reading about another person entering an existing married relationship! (even though I will admit I still wasn't 100% ok with it!!)* Paul was incredibly hot, and an alpha male without question* The m/m sex scene mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!! HOTThings I didn't like so much (again without spoilers)* Margie! She was annoying and kept butting in when she really didn't have to!! If only it was a m/m/m book bwhahahahaha!* The ending was awkward in my opinion!If you want a short hot read and don't mind m/m/f sex then this is the one for you! 5++++++ STARS!!!!I honestly cannot remember the last time I enjoyed a book so so much!I will admit I was a person who at the mention on Historical Romances would run the other way! Yet I told Blacky I would try one as I know she loves them :) I was so wrong to judge them! This one is so wonderful that I think it will stay with me for the rest of my life *sigh****Things I loved**** Duncan known as the wolf- you have my heart my love *sigh* you are amazing and I loved your stern attitude to begin with and yet your love for Madelyne. I will wait for my Duncan to come on his horse to rescue me one day!! * Madelyne- she was an amazingly strong character who was wise and brought great humor to the story with her willingness to speak her mind. Even to Duncan who commanded respect and submission* the plot- I cannot fault it! It was never boring or out of context. It had just the right amount of passion and reverence for a book of this genre.Would I recommend it to others...YES I MOST CERTAINLY WOULD!! Even to none Historical Romance readers or people wanting to begin with this genre like myself.I will certainly be reading more books by this author as she is amazing :)Blacky I could kiss you for recommending this to me. You are the queen of Historical Romance rec's now so be warned I will be coming to you again! Love you woman Mwah mwah
3 1/2 stars.It would have been 4 but the end dragged and I lost interest which was a shame as Kyler is sooooo hot!!! I would be telling him the...There were certain scenes in it which were off the scale hot. Kyler was everything I would want in a guy and I guess he reminded me very much of Travis from Beautiful disaster in many ways :)I hope you give it a go and enjoy it :)
Loved this book :)It did take me a long time to finish as I got side tracked Oops Sorry V sweetie :( This book certainly had me...Stunt has a brilliant sense of humourThe plot of the story was interesting and Alex and Stunt's passionate relationship was amazingly hot and well developed!I would definitely recommend it to other m/m book lovers. I absolutely LOVED this book :) :)I have been meaning to start this series for ages and I will admit this is my first one even though it is book 4 in the series.I really didn't feel lost without starting at the beginning, even though other characters were mentioned from previous books.Gabe is He is so sweet and protective with Kat. Kat is a strong independent woman. Who is determined in everything she does, be it work or relationships. Surprisingly enough she didn't annoy me either at any aspect in the book :)The crime aspect didn't completely enthrall me although it did get quite tense towards the end. Well where to start...3 1/2 stars- which saddened me :( Yes I did pick it because it had a hot cover!! Shame on me!!It all started out really good* Hot Navy SEAL's! * Alpha males* Packed with action* Promising plot lineThen it all went south for me * All action not enough romance* Heroine annoyed me * The plot got a bit lost in the middle and* I didn't feel connected to the characters by the endWhich is such a shame as I really did think the start was promising and had potential!
